GOLDX is committed to evolving into a community-driven, decentralized ecosystem. Governance will play a key role in managing the protocol’s evolution, liquidity policies, supply controls, and integration opportunities. The GOLDX governance model is designed in three progressive phases — from centralized stability to full decentralization.
Governance Authority: Core Team / Multi-Sig
Token mint authority is held by a multi-signature wallet controlled by the founding team.
All changes related to supply, liquidity management, airdrops, and partnerships are voted internally.
This ensures stability and tight control during launch and early adoption phases.
Objectives:
Protect peg model and market trust.
Prevent malicious minting or manipulation.
Coordinate burn and lock schedules responsibly.
Governance Expansion: Advisory Board + Public Input
Community members can propose ideas via governance forums (e.g., Discord, GitHub).
Snapshot-style voting is introduced for major decisions like:
New liquidity pool additions
Burn schedules
Treasury usage
New utility proposals (staking, wrapped tokens, merchant use)
Token Holder Rights:
Early adopters and LP providers may receive non-binding vote rights.
Treasury allocation decisions may be partially guided by community polls.
Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO)
GOLDX will transition to a DAO governance model where token holders steer major decisions. Governance tokens (could be GOLDX itself or a separate GXG token) will allow:
✅ Binding voting on protocol upgrades
✅ Treasury disbursements
✅ Burn/mint proposals
✅ Ecosystem grants and partnerships
✅ Adjusting staking rewards or pegging methods
DAO Tools:
Smart contract–based governance protocol (e.g., Realms on Solana, Juicebox-style structure)
Public voting records
Community proposal mechanism
